MEET YOUR BOOKSELLER
My name is Alison Fishburn; I’m a Pushcart-nominated writer, award-winning playwright, performer, and community organizer living in Paris, Ontario.
I live within walking distance of the bookstore with a personal library of well-loved books, a bookcase of even more books to read, and a bedside table with at least one book at any given time.
I am passionate about making a lasting impact in people’s lives through literature.
In 2022, I launched the Riverside Reading Series, a non-profit organization in Paris that supports writers of all ages and professional levels with a series of monthly and annual literary events. I am also known to teach writing workshops and creative writing at Laurier University in Brantford.
I can’t wait to meet you in the bookstore and talk about your next great read.
