Astronomy is the study of everything in the universe beyond Earth's atmosphere and it helps us understand our place in the cosmos. Ed Mizza is an amateur astronomer with the Royal Canadian Astronomical Society of Canada and his main focus is to help educate members of the public about the oldest of sciences and the wonders of the universe. Ed will attempt to describe just how tiny the Earth is in relation to other planets, stars, galaxies and the observable universe. He will use naked eye viewing as well as a telescope to help participants learn about the night sky. 

Dress for the weather and bring a blanket/chairs.
