Drop in to test out your green thumb and help plant seeds! A variety of seed types will be available to plant, with all the necessary materials to complete the project at your leisure. Once seedlings are mature they will be taken to the Scotland Community Garden for planting as part of the Cultivating Community project. Stay for as little as 10 minutes or as long as you like! Meet new friends, try something new and take home a planted seed.

This program is offered as part of our Cultivating Community series. Sessions teach older adults the necessary skills to grow their own food, using a combination of information events with guest speakers and hands-on activities in local community garden spaces.
