The County of Brant Fire Department is pleased to offer Camp Phoenix from Wednesday, July 12 to Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the Cainsville Fire Station. 

Join us for an open house to learn more about the camp. This evening will feature a presentation, demonstrations and give an opportunity for youth and guardians to interact with staff and ask questions. 

Camp Phoenix is a free, immersive day camp for young women ages 14-18 years old who are interested in learning more about a career in firefighting. Our mission is simple; to discover, educate and empower the next generation of future female fire professionals. 

Camp Phoenix simulates real-life scenarios in all areas of fire prevention and suppression including:

• Search and rescue
• Forcible entry
• Auto extrication
• Basic first aid and more.

Campers will receive empowering interactions from people in all areas of the fire service, not just firefighting, through learning lunches which will welcome a new guest speaker every day.
